For the past three years wildlife photographer Luke Massey and writer Katie Stacey have been working together to promote wildlife, conservation and ecotourism. Their projects have taken them around the world to some incredibly wild and remote places.
Now they want to share their incredible adventures with others!
Alongside his film and photography Luke has guided all over Europe, whilst Katie has managed luxury lodges around the globe. Most recently the pair managed a luxury eco-ranch in Nicaragua, so they know a thing or two about offering getaways with that little something extra.
With their combined experiences Luke and Katie create bespoke, once in a lifetime trips.
MWT Travel won’t take you anywhere they haven’t been themselves. Having been on the road non-stop for the past three years they have selected locations which they have fallen in love with and subsequently designed itineraries based on that!
Nature is at the forefront of all their trips, but culture and food come a very close second.
They create trips both guided and solo, for families, groups or couples and every itinerary will be hand-crafted to suit your personal preferences.
Luke and Katie are a dynamic multimedia team. They travel the globe working on ecotourism strategies, conservation stories and wildlife projects.
Together they have filmed a BBC Natural World, and produced multiple projects for Leica Optics. As well as creating numerous successful photographic stills projects; from peregrine falcons in Chicago & black kites in Delhi to the Iberian lynx in Spain & the illegal wildlife trade in Asia.
Luke is a wildlife photographer and cameraman. His stills work has won him Young Environmental Photographer of the Year 2016 and Travel Photographer of the Year's ‘Wildlife category’ 2016. As well as being highly commended in GDT European Wildlife photographer of the Year 2016 and in the prestigious NHM Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards 2016.
His filming work has seen him work with the BBC’s Natural History Unit, Netflix, National Geographic, Leica Optics (for whom he is an ambassador), Panasonic and WEX Photographic to name a few.
Luke has also led nature and photography tours across Europe.
Katie has worked in tourism all over the world; from running a thirteen man chalet in the French Alps, to managing a luxury Bushcamp in the heart of the Zambian bush. She is also a PADI Dive Instructor and spent a year in Roatan, Honduras, teaching and guiding.
